On the evening of June 17th, 2003, The Rubin Dialysis Center held a community Open House, at our newest center in Clifton Park, that was enjoyed by approximately 125+ guests, patients, family members, and community representatives. Many thanks to Southern Saratoga Chamber President Peter L. Aust, who assisted our Board President Ellen R. Briskman, other Board members, our Medical Directors and CEO, in cutting the Grand Opening ribbon.

Tours of the clinical areas, water treatment system, home dialysis training suite, and our Dietitian and Social Worker displays, had our staff assisting that evening answering lots of good questions from visitors!

The Open House also kicked off the Friends of the Rubin Centers Giving Tree displays in all 3 centers that highlights the very important charitable giving programs now available on our website. As a not-for-profit system, charitable giving in the form of bequests, appreciated stock, or cash donations go to enhance and maintain a quality of care in our centers that is embodied by our motto, "Providing Dialysis with Dignity". Dialysis machines cost $14,000 each, EKG/defrib units cost up to $20,000, even dialysis chairs cost $1000 and staff training costs are essential to keep the best trained professional care givers possible.

Thanks for your support! Check out our new Charitable Giving features under this website! Make a difference in your community and join our mission!
